About the practice.
—739 is a spatial practice working across architecture, interiors and cultural projects.
Founded by Daria Sharova, the practice focuses on creating private residential, cultural and large-scale environments defined by precision, materiality and a deep understanding of human perception.
Each project is approached as a unique commission — developed through close collaboration with the client and shaped as a cohesive system where space, movement and identity are considered as one.
Scale.
The work ranges from private residences to complex hospitality and development projects, where spatial concepts extend beyond architecture into user experience, programming and identity.
Daria Sharova is an architect and designer educated in London, with over a decade of experience working across private, cultural and large-scale environments.
Her work spans international projects in London, Paris, Dubai, the Netherlands and major cities across Russia, combining architectural thinking with a refined understanding of light, materiality and human perception.
She began her career in retail design, contributing to the development and rollout of global store concepts for brands such as Oasis London, where she was involved in spatial strategy, customer journey and brand identity through space.
Over the past 4–5 years, her focus has expanded into the redevelopment of cultural heritage sites, working with historically significant buildings and complex architectural contexts. These projects require a sensitive balance between preservation and contemporary intervention — a dialogue that has become central to her approach.
Her role often extends beyond design itself, encompassing the structuring of spatial concepts, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and the development of coherent project narratives — from early-stage strategy through to final execution.
Daria approaches each project as a complete system, where space, movement, light and identity are developed in relation to one another, rather than as isolated elements. This systemic thinking allows her to create environments that are both functionally precise and experientially rich.
Alongside her architectural practice, Daria is deeply engaged in the field of contemporary art. She develops her own artistic work across photography, painting and mixed media, regularly presenting her work through personal exhibitions.
This dual practice informs her broader vision of space as an integrated ecosystem, where architecture, design and art exist in dialogue. Within her studio, this approach extends into art consulting, curation and the integration of collectible works into spatial concepts — positioning art not only as an aesthetic layer, but as a fundamental component of spatial value and long-term investment.
Her work operates at the intersection of architecture, art and spatial experience — creating environments that are both precise and emotionally resonant.
