A private residence set within a historic building, where original architectural elements define the foundation of the space.

Proportions, cornices and openings are preserved and clarified rather than altered, allowing the existing structure to remain legible. The intervention is quiet and precise — a contemporary layer introduced without disrupting the integrity of the original fabric.

A restrained palette of natural materials reinforces continuity between past and present. Dark timber, stone and soft textiles create depth, while light reveals the articulation of surfaces and details.

The project is conceived as a balance between permanence and refinement — where history is not replicated, but carefully extended.

Structure remains. Intervention is minimal.
